
The Daily Purbokone and the PCIU Journalism Alumni Association (PIJA) organised two days of training entitled “Mobile Journalism (MoJo) Training on Climate Action and Child Labor Elimination” at the Yusuf Chowdhury Conference Hall of the Purbokone Center on Sunday (December 28), with support from Young Power in Social Action (IPSA).
Around 50 talented young working journalists from all parts of Chattogram attended the training, during which they were taught theoretical and practical principles by renowned former journalist Dr. Jamil Khan, Associate Professor at Daffodil International University.

The workshop includes hands-on training on video reporting using smartphones, photojournalism, mobile video editing, digital storytelling, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in journalism.
Among others present at the inauguration were IPSA Founder and Chief Executive Dr. Mohammad Arifur Rahman, Dr. Md. Ramiz Uddin Chowdhury, Editor of The Daily Purbokone, The Daily Purbokone Chief Reporter Saiful Alam, and IPSA Head of Advocacy Mohammad Ali Shaheen.
