Workshop empowers UNDP project managers in mobile storytelling

In a step toward advancing digital communication, a transformative workshop on mobile storytelling conducted by Dr Jamil Khan took place at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) office premises in Bangladesh on 4 September 2023. 

The workshop was specifically designed to equip UNDP project managers with essential skills in mobile storytelling, focusing on enhancing their ability to craft impactful visual narratives through digital media platforms.

“The aim of the event was to bridge the gap between traditional storytelling techniques and the modern, fast-paced digital landscape,” said Md Abdul Quayyum, head of communications at UNDP Bangladesh.

Jamil Khan, a renowned expert in the field, spearheaded the workshop, providing invaluable insights and hands-on training to the participants. 

The session was tailored to empower UNDP project managers with practical skills, enabling them to convey compelling stories that resonate with audiences in the digital age.

During the workshop, participants delved into various aspects of mobile storytelling, including content creation, multimedia integration, and effective use of digital tools. 

Through interactive discussions, live demonstrations, and collaborative exercises, attendees gained a deeper understanding of the nuances of visual storytelling in the context of digital media.

The workshop concluded on a high note, leaving participants inspired and motivated to implement their newfound knowledge in their respective projects. 

UNDP expressed its gratitude to Jamil Khan for his valuable contribution and commitment to empowering professionals in the field of digital communication.
