A workshop on How to Create and Edit Content for Social Media Using Mobile was held on December 19, 2022, for UNDP Bangladesh’s Communication Team. The workshop was organized by UNDP Bangladesh.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Abdul Kabil Khan who is an Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism, Media, and Communication (JMC) at the Daffodil International University (DIU).

UNDP Bangladesh’s Communication Team participated in this hour-and-a-half-long workshop with tips and tricks for shooting videos with mobile phones and editing on the phone with applications like Kinemaster.

This session was great to understand and have hands-on experience in this up-and-rising topic. It helped to learn a few mobile tools and their implementation to effectively communicate for development in alignment with the current digital trends.

The resource person, Dr. Khan, who is famously known by the name Jamil Khan, is an internationally recognized Digital Media trainer and is considered to be the pioneer of Mobile Journalism in Bangladesh.
